Inside My Head

 Inside My Head

Inside my head i’m an olympic gold medalist tumbling
my highest and flipping better than I ever have
Winning my second national title
Inside my head

Inside my head i’m running in the paddock with
My best friends as I feel Exhilarated,
Filled with energy,
Inside my head

Inside my head I am a journalist seeking new stories
Gathering new information
About the world,
Inside my head

Inside my head I am writing as if i’ve never written,
Writing my own original stories
To sell and read to my piers,
Inside my head

Te Poutama

Te Poutama Meaning- Hayley and Jess
I think that the Te Poutama pattern represents Tane and “climbing up too the Heavens as he was seeking the baskets.
I also believe  that resembles too us moving upwards as we continue onto college as in “moving up like Tane did with the stairs.
Poutama it self is a stepped patterns of Tukutuku panels and woven mats-symbolising genealogies and also the different levels of high achievements.
Te Poutama is said to represent the stairs Tane climbed to the top most realm in his quest for knowledge.
